Rose lassi
About:
Serve this flavoured yogurt drink for hot summer. Lassi can be savoury or sweet, our sweet version takes its flavour from rose syrup and honey. It is healthful refreshment anytime. It is especially nice as a mouth cooling accompaniment to spicy food.
Serves: 2
Preparation time: 10 mins
Ingredients:
• Natural low fat yogurt-1 cup
• Low fat milk-1/2cup
• Honey/agave nectar-2tbsp
• Rose syrup-3tbsp
• Water-1/2cup
Topping:
• Rose petals/ chopped roasted pistachios
Procedure:
• Combine yogurt, honey, rose syrup in blender and blend it until smooth and frothy.
• Refrigerate and serve cold, garnished with petals/nuts
To serve immediately:
• Use ice cubes in place of water pulse until crushed and serve.
Note:
You can use sugar instead of honey
Use any flavour of your choice for variation

This is a refreshing drink! Rose water is not the same as rose syrup, right, or can it be used instead?

Apsara Rose syrup is concentrated which are usually available in Indian grocery stores. Rose essence can be used instead. Rose water will be less concentrated and doesn’t provide much fragrance to lassi
