Reblogged this on Oil-Change Diet and commented:
This should be a good low 6 recipe–I would add a little bit more milled flax, probably 1/2 cup.

Hi chitra, love your healthy innovations, can the flaxseed be substituted with millet flour, and can yogurt be used as dipping for this bread. And how can I make my roti pliable and soft, because they sometimes turn out to be hard. Thanks

Helen – Yes Flaxseed can be replaced and served with Yogurt. Here is one of recipe I have tried by steaming – https://drchdietfood.com/2014/11/29/millet-and-oats-roti/
Roti became hard when the dough is not soft. Dough consistency what makes a difference to the end product. So leaving dough rested for atleast 30 minutes by covering in white muslin cloth. Once each roti is made cover them with cloth and finally store in an airtight container until it is served.
