Spiced Orange Saffron warm drink
About:
When it’s cold and dark outside there is nothing better than to curl up on the sofa with a steaming hot drink to warm you from inside out. If you’re feeling virtuous this spicy drink is as good without alcohol. Perfect for those evenings with your loved ones. Catch over a cup of intensely citrusy drink with spiced aroma.
Health benefits:
Saffron is a popular spice and an expensive one too. It has long been used in traditional medicine around the world, and modern scientific study suggests that saffron could also have a role to play in fighting disease. The active constituents in saffron could help alleviate gastric problems, heart disease, insulin resistance, depression, premenstrual syndrome, insomnia and anxiety. Eating saffron also appears to help vision by retarding the degeneration of the retina that occurs with age.

Hi Chitra, you don’t seem to have included the links to the posts before and after yours in the potluck in your post. Please grab the Vegan Virtual Potluck buttons from here: http://virtualveganpotluck.com/resources/
Then please link them to the blog before yours: http://foodsforlonglife.blogspot.com.au/2014/12/chia-hachiya-vegan-eggnog-2014-virtual.html
And after yours: http://tiaskitchen.com/vegan-eggnog/
If you could add this as soon as you can it would be great, so that the link of the potluck doesn’t get broken. Any questions drop me an email.
Thanks,
Keely

Chitra, your links still do not work! Please link your ‘go back’ button to http://foodsforlonglife.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/chia-hachiya-vegan-eggnog-2014-virtual.html and your ‘go to the beginning’ button to http://virtualveganpotluck.com/december-2014/
It wuld be much appreciated if you could do this to keep the chain going. Also I noticed that this post is from November 30th. The idea of the Potluck is to post a new recipe all of us at the same time on the day, see the How it Works page here http://virtualveganpotluck.com/resources/how-it-works/
This is not the same as the weekly Linky potluck where you can share previously posted recipes. Perhaps if you join next year you can post on the day. Thank you and enjoy the VVP!
