A warm welcome from Chitra Jagadish and thank you for taking your time off to visit my blog. I am the recipe developer for ‘Chitras Healthy Kitchen’, where each recipe is tried with a variation (Replacing with Oats, Muesli, Bulgur, Broken wheat, Flaxseeds, Barley, Fenugreek leaves, Tofu, Honey etc.,).
My dad was a Doctor and Mum is retired defense employee. I was my dad’s loving lonely princess and his best friend as well pet. As per his guidance I did my dentistry (B.D.S) in Bangalore, India.
After marriage life changed and we had to shift to UK immediately. Staying away from home, I started my learning on basic dishes. In the beginning just tasty cooking was my intention to impress my hubby later as I developed interest in cooking started to explore multi-cuisine recipes (Asian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican etc.,). I later started exploring on healthy cooking/baking.
Who am I?
I thought it would be a good idea to start Blogging about my learning’s. I had my hubby (Best Friend) support, who works in IT. He is my backbone, whose support, encouragement and motivation makes me work tirelessly.
I blend my interest in home cooking, housekeeping and healthy life style. I spend most of my time on ‘Browsing – to explore the wonders created by others in cooking/baking’. I enjoy learning about benefits of ingredients and healthy recipes. I experiment them with my family before sharing on my blog.
What to expect in future?
Continue to learn ‘how to include healthy ingredients to everyday food’. Explore and share as many multi-cuisine healthy dishes possible on my blog. Expand the boundary to add ‘Vegan recipes’ as well.
