About:

This recipe is similar to paniyaram/gunta pungulu/paddu which is a popular breakfast or snack which is a mixture of the indian crepe spiced with chopped onion, green chillies, cumin seeds. This traditionally made using a paddu pan but baking it in the muffin tray also tastes great and off course low calorie as oil used is less.

Makes: 10-12muffins
Baking time: 18-20mins
Preparation time: 10mins

Mexican rice


Mexican rice

About:

A dish made up of rice, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, onion, capsicum and other ingredients; Spiced with chilli powder. Sautéing the rice in a skillet until it is golden brown gives the traditional touch. It is similar to Spanish Rice with some variations.

Brown rice is used to make fibre rich diet food.

Serves: 2
Cooking time: 35-40mins (including cooking time of rice)
Preparation time: 15mins
