Oats and Dark chocolate bars
Dark chocolate is the good source of anti-oxidants & is best consumed in moderation. Oats are rich in dietary fibre and help lower levels of bad cholesterol & helps in weight loss.
Enjoy healthy chocolates than buying from super markets
Servings: 8 to 10bars
Preparation time: 8 to 10mins
Total time: 20 to 25mins
Ingredients:
- Rolled oats-1cup
- Cooking dark chocolate-100gms
- Olive oil/shortening- 2tsp
Method:
- Melt the chocolate on the double boiler or microwave
- Add the oil/shortening as chocolate melts then add oats and mix well
- Transfer it to the lined tray and spread evenly
- Refrigerate it for about 15min and then cut into desired shapes and enjoy
Note:
- To increase the crunchiness you can add 1/2cup of crushed plain corn flakes
- You can use butter instead of oil/shortening
