Pomegranate dates smoothie
It is healthy and refreshing and tasty concoction, especially for sipping on a steamy days. It is made with just 3 ingredients.
Pomegranates are a great source of vitamin C, B5, potassium, fiber and antioxidants. Studies suggest that regular consumption of pomegranates or its juice may reduce the risk of heart disease, reduce high blood pressure and inhibit viral infections.
Preparation time: 10mins
- Pomegranate arils-3cups
- Dates paste-1/4cup
- Lime juice-2-3tbsp
- Crushed ice-1cup
- Combine all the ingredients together in a blender except for crushed ice.
- Blend for 4-5minutes until smooth puree, then pour the crushed ice and blend again for 2 minutes.
Serve in a large chilled glass.
- You can strain the smoothie if you don’t like the bits of pomegranate seeds or pulse it for more time until smooth.
