Mixed sprouts salad/chaat

I love Salads as they are always so colourful, georgeous, vibrant juicy and crunchy. Because they are the perfect for light dinner or can be served as snacks. They make you fillup in the most delicious way giving a bucket full of energy and nutritious.

There is no real recipe when it comes to Salad just mix and match with fruit and veggies. Pair them your favourite dressing.

Serves: 2-3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Mixed sprouts-1cup (Green moong, Black chana, brown lentils or any of your choice)
  • Fresh Oranges peeled and chopped – 2
  • Pomegranates – ½ cup
  • Grated Carrot-1/2cup
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice-1-2tsp
  • Chaat masala-1tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Ground black pepper-as per taste

Garnishing:

  • Finely chopped coriander

Method:

  • Wash and chop all your veggies
  • Add them to a bowl
  • In a separate bowl combine honey, olive oil, lemon juice, Chaat masala, Salt and ground black pepper
  • Add the dressing to veggies and toss to coat well
  • Garnish with Corianer

Serve them immediately

Note:

  • Combination of sprouts can be as per your preference

  1. I love sprouts, but have had little luck in the sprouting side of things. It’s probably got to do with the viability of seed because it used to be no issue for us. Maybe one day I’ll start again. Thanks for the prompt and the tasty looking salad.
