Blueberry Lemonade
About:
This Blueberry Lemonade is super quick to whip up and it’s a total crowd pleaser. Not to mention the color is gorgeous! All you need are some Juicy Lemons, a handful of fresh blueberries plus some water and sweetener.
Health Benefits:
Yields-3 servings
Preparation time – 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Fresh blueberries-1cup
- Agave nectar/honey-1/4cup (more or less as per sweet desired)
- Lemon juice-from 1 lemon
- Cold water- 3 cups
- Lemon slices and blueberries, fresh basil leaves for serving
Procedure:
- Place the blueberries, honey and 1 cup water in a blender. Blend on medium-high speed for about 1 minute, until the blueberries are completely pureed. Strain the blueberry puree through a fine mesh sieve (or skip this step if you don’t mind small pieces of blueberry in your lemonade).
- Combine the blueberry puree with lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water. Add more water, if desired.
- Stir well, and chill.
- Serve over ice.
Note:
Sweetness can be personalized as per the taste.
